What happens in a coaching session?

Coaching sessions are discussion based and meant to help you build your plain language skills through supported practice.

Here's generally how these sessions work:

Before we meet: We will review the materials you shared to prepare feedback and a few sample changes

When we meet:

  • We will ask questions about the materials, your goals and audience, and related processes

  • Together, we'll reflect on what is and isn't currently working with these materials

  • We will share sample revisions. Together we'll brainstorm additional changes to help you meet your goals

After we meet: Sarah will share a copy of the sample changes and a summary of our conversation
