Join Literacy Works for a discussion on the current changes in immigration policy and what they mean for adult learners. Fred Tsao, from the Illinois Coalition of Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR), will discuss how we can support our learners in these uncertain times. We’ll learn about recent updates in immigration policy and the ICIRR’s analysis of changes in federal and local policies that affect immigrants and refugees. This discussion is ideal for both staff and volunteers, and will be offered on two dates.
Note: The second session, originally scheduled for January 25, has been rescheduled for February 1.
