The highlight was the Inspiration Award ceremony honoring literacy advocate Myra Johnson and adult literacy learners and volunteer tutors. Pitchfork Music Festival Thanks to everyone who volunteered - in rain and shine - at the July 18-20 Pitchfork festival at Union Park to help raise important funds for Literacy Works. The Strangerer - a Benefit for Literacy Works Theater Oobleck presented a benefit performance of The Strangerer to benefit Literacy Works on Sunday, June 8th at Chopin Theater, 1543 W. Division.
